NPP boycotts TV3 Morning Show: NewDay

If there is anything that makes politicians uncomfortable, it is media practitioners who ask probing questions, hold them to fire on their on words, promises and demand for accountability. It is simple. Such questions which more often than not, politicians appear unprepared to answer embarrases them.

Sometimes the politicians either go overboard, throw caution to the wind or lose their tempers in trying to do justice to such probing questions. This is one of the reasons why some of them tag some journalists as opponents.

It is important to anchor the point that, news is what a person/entity/politicians and their self-seeking collaborators will want to hide. Any other thing including press releases are adverts.

National Communication Bureau of the New Patriotic Party (NPP ) wishes to inform all its Communicators, Media Monitors, and Officials that the Party has boycotted TV3 morning Show ( NewDay) effectively 3rd January 2022.

The reason for this boycott has to do with the unreasonable decision of the Producers and Host of the program Johnny who always interrupt NPP communicators when they are highlighting the projects the government has done.

All efforts to get the Producers and Host of the program to give us a fair treatment on the show over the past 6 months, including a complaint to the Management of the station for an amicable resolution of this matter, have proven futile, as the party continues to be twith the witthe utmost contempt.
