2020 Amenfi West NPP PC Kofi Asante defects to NDC

The 2020 Amenfi West Parliamentary Candidate for NPP Abraham Kofi Asante has defected to opposition NDC ahead of crucial 2024 general elections. He made this declaration during the funeral of late Comfort Buah, the mother of Amenfi West MP Dr. Eric Afful, in Assankragua.

Ghana’s general elections are scheduled to take place on 7 December 2024 to choose the president and members of Parliament. Nana Akufo-Addo, the current president, is unable to seek re-election due to term limits.
