2024 polls: Bawumia unveils campaign team
The campaign team for the NPP’s 2024 flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has been officially announced ahead of the December 7 polls. Credible individuals have been selected to assist the flagbearer in capturing political power in the upcoming general election. Dr. Bawumia will serve as the Chairman of the Campaign Coordinating Committee, with the vice chair of the campaign team to be announced later as the running mate of the party. Other key team members include Justin Kodua Frimpong and Henry Nana Boakye leading the operations team, Dan Botwe as the campaign strategist, and Frederick Opare-Ansah as the Campaign Manager. Various committees and coordinators have also been established to support the campaign efforts. These teams will work together to ensure a successful campaign leading up to the 2024 general election.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has finally announced the members of the campaign team of the party’s 2024 flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, ahead of the December 7 polls.
Speaking to the media on Monday, February 19, the General Secretary of the party, Justin Kodua Frimpong, said the team consists of credible individuals who will aid the flagbearer in capturing political power in the general election.
Listing the names of individuals, he said Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is the Chairman of the Campaign Coordinating Committee, and the vice chair of the campaign team will be the yet-to-be named running mate of the party.
The operations team will be led by Justin Kodua Frimpong, assisted by Henry Nana Boakye. The team will include wings of the party, volunteer groups, and persons with disability desks.
Dan Botwe occupies the campaign strategist position, with two vice chairpersons Fred Oware and Nana Akomea.
Campaign Manager Frederick Opare-Ansah will be assisted by three deputies; Dr Antoinette Tsiboe-Darkoone will oversee research and administration, O.B Amoah will handle parliamentary campaign whilst Ibrahim Anyars will oversee presidential campaign.
Dr. Gideon Boako will serve as spokesperson of the flagbearer, with Dennis Miracles Aboagye as director of Campaign Communication, and will be assisted by Adomako Baafi and Akbar Khomeini as first and second deputies respectively.
The Electoral Affairs Committee is headed by Peter Mac Manu while Edward Boateng leads the diplomatic affairs.
The rest are Social Media Coordinator Kobea Asante, Dr. Isaac Owusu Mensah for research, and Dr Alolo Muntaka for Finance and Fundraising, and Frank Davis for legal matters.
