2024 Polls: NDC most likely to win –Fitch Solutions

Fitch Solutions predicted that the NDC will defeat the NPP in the December 7 general elections, with 54% of respondents favoring NDC candidate John Mahama. According to Mike Kruiniger, Associate Director at Fitch Solutions, economic issues will play a key role in the voters’ decision. He believes that the NDC has a stronger chance of winning due to the economic challenges faced by the country under the NPP government. Kruiniger also stated that a change in government is unlikely to result in a significant shift in policy direction, as the NDC is expected to continue with the IMF programme initiated by the current government.
