The National Democratic Congress Western Regional executives this morning swore in the 2024 Western Regional campaign team in a short ceremony at the regional party office.

The ceremony, which was chaired by the regional vice chairman Hon. Samuel Kwame Borlu was witnessed by the rank and file of the region.

The regional secretary, Mr Joseph Nelson, administered the oath of office to the campaign team, which was made up of the main regional campaign team and members of the campaign sub committees.

The regional campaign team will be chaired by the regional chairman Nana Kojo Toku and the regional secretary, Mr Joseph Nelson, as the campaign coordinator .
Other members of the team include the Deputy Minority leader of Ghana’s parliament, Hon. Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah representing members of Parliament in the region and our parliamentary candidates,Hon. Betty Bosomtwi Sam is the rep of the former appointees of the region and the Hon. Victor Mesu also represents the former MMDCE’S.
Mr. Charles Kojo Adu- Fordjour( regional organiser), Comrade Richard Kirk-mensah ( regional communication Officer), Miss Gladys Egyin ( Regional women’s organiser), Daniel Darlington Atitso( regional Treasurer), Alhaji Mustapha Iddrisu( regional youth organiser), Mr Emmanuel Papa Assan( Regional Director), Prof. George Adjei( Regional Research Director), Nana Adu Gyamfi ( Regional council of Elders chairman), Dr George Owusu ( regional President of Proforum) and representative of the Regional Cadres front in the person of Comrade Anthony Crankson.

Addressing the team after the swearing in, the regional chairman of the council elders, Nana Adu Gyamfi, charged members to descend to their various constituencies and integrate with constituency executives to achieve a strong retail grassroots campaign.

Hon. Samuel Borlu who chaired the ceremony also advised the various committee members to work very hard to compliment the efforts of the regional executives to win more seats in the regional and also win more than 55% of the presidential votes.

The regional secretary, who is the campaign coordinator, assured the committee of the regions preparedness in terms of logistical support to ease their workload.
