2024: Who are you to say you won’t handover power..? NPP blowing hot air- Mahama

EX-President John Dramani Mahama on his Thank You tour of the Oti Region responded to comments by the NPP that they will not handover power come 2024. Those words are just hot air they are blowing, he said.

He took the opportunity to assure the people of Oti that he didn’t just emerge from the blues to appear on the scenes to take political power. I have equally worked at the grassroots before. I took my first party card in 1996 and served at various levels and I know what it entails.

The frustration of the NPP is telling on them through their comments. Who are you to subvert the power of the people and not handover power?

They are just blowing hot air, disregard such comments from these power drunk people and focus on the victory ahead of us. What are they doing with the power they have today ? Power is primarily to serve. Let them lose office come 2024 and repeat those words to our ears and see who the power really belongs to, he said.
