Tamale Central Hospital cancels surgeries over essential supplies and water shortage

Tamale Central Hospital has canceled surgeries over shortage of essential supplies and water.

An internal memo from Specialist Surgeon to Medical Superintendent of the hospital, sighted by African Editors said “Patients have for three weeks been buying almost all consumables for their surgery. This had led to discussions in the media. Surgeries will resume as soon as essential supplies are provided”.
