W/R: Totobi Quakyi’s timely intervention eases burden of Eno residents
TIMELY INTERVENTION OF HON. KOFI TOTOBI QUAKYI EASES THE BURDEN OF THE PEOPLE OF ENO AND ITS ENVIRONS
The people of Eno a suburb of Kojokrom in the Essikadu Ketan constituency are full of joy and praise for NDC stalwart Hon. Kofi Totobi Quakyi for his timely intervention in funding repairs to a stretch of their road.
Residents in and around Eno have virtually been stuck in their homes in the past weeks following to persistent rainfall. Due to the slippery nature of the clay soil especially after rainfall, drivers find the stretch impassable. Residents on top of hill are therefore cut off from the lower parts of the community because vehicles are unable to climb or descend.
The elders of Eno after unsuccessful attempts to get the authouries to fix the road decided to levy every household Ghc100 to gather enough funds to fix the road themselves.
When news of the situation got to his attention, Hon Totobi Quakyi took it upon himself to hire machines and buy materials to fix the stretch and make it motorable as one of his community intervention initiatives.
