Hearts Talisman mobbed by fans in his hometown

Accra Hearts of Oak playmaker Ibrahim Salifu has been mobbed by hundreds of fans on his return to his hometown, Abofour after helping Hearts to clinch their first league title after eleven years.

Salifu, who joined Hearts from Techiman Eleven Wonders in February 2021, made an instant impact with his flair and creativity.

He was significant in most of Hearts matches and his sumptuous set pieces got many goals that won matches for the team.

He won eight man of the match awards, and was also awarded as the overall best player in the league.

He posted a video on Twitter from his hometown where he was welcomed like a king amid music and dance, an indication that the town is happy he made them proud with his splendid and extraordinary performance.
