Daughter of MCE of Bekwai shot dead
The daughter of Municipal Chief Executive of Bekwai, Akua Serwaa Kyei has been allegedly killed by unknown assailant.
The deceased believed to be 30 years of age, was reportedly shot dead by some unknown gunmen on Thursday (3 August).
It is not yet clear what necessitated the attack on the deceased.
Meanwhile the Ghana Police Service has commenced investigation into circumstances leading to the death of the daughter of the MCE.
A statement issued by the police on Friday (4 August) said the “husband found the deceased lying unconscious at the back of their house on Thursday evening and rushed her to the hospital and was subsequently pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital”.
