NPP stalwart Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamaklo has described the late Akoto Ampaw as a true human rights lawyer hours after the demise of Ghana’s Private Legal practitioner.

Details surrounding the cause of his passing, however, remain shrouded in uncertainty.

Akoto Ampaw was renowned for his exceptional legal acumen. He played a pivotal role as the lead lawyer representing President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo during the intense legal proceedings of the 2020 election petition.

His remarkable legal career was further underscored by his involvement in the New Patriotic Party’s legal team during the Electoral Petition of 2013.
