I’ll keep Shatta Wale awake – Bullgo

The former manager of Ghanaian Dancehall alArtist, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Junior, also known as Shatta Wale, has responded to a list of celebrities whom the musician believes are impeding the progress of the Ghana music industry. Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, also known as Bullgod, a well-known entertainment expert, stated that he will keep Shatta Wale on his toes due to the artist’s loyalty as a fan.

Shatta Wale shared a post on Facebook, naming eight radio and TV personalities who he believes should be prohibited from the media in order to advance the Ghanaian music industry. He asserts that these individuals stifle growth in the industry and lack creativity. The individuals on Shatta Wale’s list include Akwasi Aboagye, Andy Dosty, Arnold, Ola, Mr Logic, Bullgod, Sally, and Abeiku Santana. Shatta Wale wrote, “Before Ghana music can thrive, these people must be banned from radio and TV.”

In response to the list on January 1, Bullgod declared on his Facebook page that he will haunt Shatta Wale like a ghost. He added that Shatta Wale has no choice but to hear him more on the radio and see him more on TV than his own songs and videos.

Bullgod claimed that he resided in Shatta Wale’s mind in 2023, and he confidently stated, “I’m all over the internet, and you read about me.” He continued, “Mr GbeeNaabu – it’s 2024, and you have no choice but to hear me more on the radio than your songs played. You will see me more on TV than your videos ever air. Unfortunately for you, I’m on your phone. I’m all over the internet, and you read about me — like a course you’re studying. In 2023, I lived in your brain… 2024, I will haunt you like a ghost. I will keep you awake. You’re a loyal fan. Keep following me,” Bullgod stated.
