Akufo-Addo’s reshuffle: timing problematic –Kwadwo Mpiani

Kwadwo Mpiani, a former Chief of Staff under President Kufuor, has raised concerns about President Akufo-Addo’s ministerial reshuffling so close to a general election.

He acknowledged that the President has the right to make changes, but questioned the timing and the potential impact on the government’s direction. Mpiani expressed doubts about the effectiveness of the newly appointed ministers, given the short amount of time before the election.

He joined others in the country who believed this reshuffle came too late. The reshuffle affected 12 current ministers, including notable figures like Ken Ofori-Atta and Kwaku Agyeman Manu.
