Video: Nollywood Actor Junior Pope is dead
Tragic news has emerged that Nollywood actor, Junior Pope Odonwodo, has passed away. Reports indicate that he and three other actors drowned in the Anam River in Anambra State while on their way to a movie location. Their bodies have since been recovered.
Prior to the incident, the actor had shared a video of himself and his colleagues on a boat heading to the movie location. In the caption, he expressed concern about the lack of life jackets and the risks they were taking to entertain their audience.
Colleagues of the late actor, including Tana Adelana and Yvonne Jegede, expressed shock and sadness upon hearing the news of his death.
Junior Pope, 39, leaves behind his wife, Jennifer Awele, and their three children.
