IMANI Boss praises NDC manifesto for its clear and relatable ideas

IMANI Africa President Franklin Cudjoe has praised the NDC manifesto as “clear, relatable, humane, and universal.” The manifesto, launched on August 24, outlines the party’s vision for Ghana, which includes plans to eliminate specific taxes, investigate election violence, and prevent political appointees from owning state assets.

In a Facebook post, Mr. Cudjoe commended the NDC’s dedication to gender equality, particularly their commitment to allocating 30%of public office positions to qualified women. He also supported the party’s efforts to address period poverty, emphasizing the positive impact it could have on the confidence and education of young girls.

Mr. Cudjoe endorsed the NDC’s proposals for a fiscal consolidation plan and economic summit, describing them as “very sensible.” However, he indicated that his team would conduct a more comprehensive analysis to evaluate the potential impact of the proposed 24-hour economy.

He emphasized the importance of good governance, advocating for a shift from self-serving actions to prioritizing the needs of the people.
