Prof. Denis Aheto appointed new Pro V-C of UCC
Prof. Denis Worlanyo Aheto, a renowned Professor of Coastal Ecology and Interdisciplinary Ocean Studies at the University of Cape Coast (UCC), has been appointed the new Pro Vice-Chancellor of the University.
He will succeed Prof. Rosemond Aboagyewaa Boohene, whose term concludes on 31 December 2024.
The appointment was announced following a special meeting of the University’s General Council on Thursday, 19 December. Prof. Aheto’s tenure will officially begin on 1 January 2025.
