Mahama appoints Victoria Emeafa Hardcastle as Ag. CEO of Petroleum Commission
President John Mahama has appointed Victoria Emeafa Hardcastle, a legal practitioner, as the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Petroleum Commission.
This appointment is in line with Article 195 (1) of the Constitution and Section 11 (1) of the Petroleum Commission Act, 2011 (Act 821).
The announcement was made in a statement issued by the Secretary to the President on Friday, January 17, 2025.
According to the statement, the appointment is subject to receiving the Constitutionally required advice from the Commission’s Board, in consultation with the Public Services Commission.
The appointment is effective from Friday, January 17, 2025.
