Akufo-Addo made corruption free-for-all pageant show- NDC
National Democratic Congress (NDC) has accused President Akufo-Addo and his vice Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia of deliberately sitting unconcerned and folding their hands in the face of many corruption cases in their government.
Speaking at press conference in Accra on Monday 30 August 2021, National Communication Officer Sammy Gyamfi said “Akufo-Addo, you’ve made corruption free-for-all pageant show. Regime change is the only hope, way to hold Akufo-Addo-Bawumia-led government to account. They came to loot state coffers”.
Sammy Gyamfi noted that “No amount of comical attacks on Ex-president Mahama will hoodwink Ghanaians to retain you in 2024. Mahama’s integrity is unblemished”.
According to him, the president who was described by former Special Prosecutor as the Mother serpent corruption, booted out the then Auditor General Daniel yam Domelevo simply because he took on former Senior Minister Osarfo Marfo in the Kroll and Associates matter on the alter of corruption.
“Mr. President, you and your his president supervised corruption without fighting. You abused anti-graft CSOs because they criticized deals. You are intolerant “, said.
“Corruption allegations levelled against NDC false, if Akufo-Addo has evidence, I’m daring him to sue and prosecute Mahama”, he stated.
