Free Shatta Wale and apologise- Youth group to IGP
Youth group Youth for Peace and Security Africa (YPSA) is asked the police to quickly deliver Dancehall Artiste Shatta Wale from the custody of the police and apologize to him.
The ‘I know my level’ hitmaker was put before court during which his bail application by his lawyers to grant him bail was unsuccessful.
Shatta Wale was captured on Tuesday, October 19 after he was pronounced needed by the police for faking a weapon on him the earlier day. He was charged under the watchful eye of an Accra Circuit Court on Thursday however remanded in police authority for a week to return on Tuesday, October 26.
Yet, YPSA has jumped to the defence of the well known performer, portraying it as a “delicate dissent against the disappointment of the police to ensure his right to harmony, wellbeing and security as a resident of Ghana”.
An official statement endorsed by YPSA’s Executive Director Abraham Korbla Klutsey on Thursday, October 21 said a few ministers and prophets have articulated the death of prominent people in Ghana with Shatta Wale getting two of those predictions.

“Shatta Wale has the privilege to fight the disappointment of the Ghana police to ensure his right to harmony, wellbeing and security.”
They depicted Monday’s move as “canny, honorable and benevolent”, focusing on that the nation will from henceforth be saved from December 31st demise predictions.
“Shatta Wale is a saint. He has saved numerous from mental and enthusiastic injury and the overall population from dread and frenzy from 2022 and then some.”
