In a televised program monitored by African Editors on Wednesday 14 July 2021,crowds gathered beneath the house to catch the child and help the mother to reunite with her daughter.

Also, the Rescue Services arrived in twenty minutes later to douse the fire and rescue people trapped in the house.

This comes after some protesters who deemed Former President Zuma’s jail sentence as a ” Political witch hunt “.

This has resulted in some 10 people loosing their lives through stampede during looting at a Shopping Mall in Soweto.

As it stands, the death toll has risen to 72.

Meanwhile, the South African Police has arrested 12 people perceived to be instigating riots in some parts of the country and in addition to the mentioned figure, the Peace and security agency has arrested another 1,234 people.
