A King’s heart for his people: HRH. Evang. Dr. Amb. Tony Ulasi —Okudaa -Ibube I supports widows ahead of 60th Birthday

Royal generosity ahead of a milestone

In a touching gesture of compassion and leadership, His Royal Highness (HRH) Evangelist Dr. Ambassador Tony Ulasi, fondly known as Okudaa -Ibube I, Eze Ndi-Igbo of Dome-Kwabenya, celebrated his upcoming 60th birthday in the most selfless way—by giving back to those in need. On Saturday, April 12, 2025, HRH Ulasi hosted a special donation ceremony at the Amalachukwu Palace, where he distributed packages of rice and other food items to over 500 widows, elderly, bringing hope and joy to many families in the community.

A gathering of faith and purpose

The well-organized event began with an opening prayer, setting a spiritual tone for what would be an emotionally rich celebration. The crowd joined in praise and worship, lifting voices in gratitude to God for life and provision.

HRH Tony Ulasi then delivered a heartfelt welcome address, sharing the purpose of the gathering. With humility and reverence, he reflected on his journey and the significance of turning 60.

“This month of April reminds me of when I was created years ago… to God be the glory, this week I’m sixty years old,” he said. “We have to support the widows and elderly again.”

Song ministration and acknowledgements

The event featured soul-stirring song ministrations, which brought many attendees to tears, followed by a warm acknowledgement of dignitaries, community leaders, and well-wishers who graced the occasion in solidarity.

Preaching a message of grace and gratitude

A powerful sermon was delivered, reinforcing the themes of grace, long life, and unity. HRH Tony Ulasi emphasized the importance of gratitude, faith, and togetherness.

“We are alive because of God’s will,” he said, calling on all to continue in love and service.

A King’s blessing

HRH Tony Ulasi spoke passionately about the value of community and the need to support one another.

“When it’s a time like this and I call on my countrymen behind me to come and let us reach out in support to the elderly, widows, they never say no. God will give all of us in Jesus’ name,” he declared, drawing applause from the crowd.

Looking forward to the main celebration Sunday

The widow-support initiative was just the beginning of the 60th birthday celebration, which continues on Sunday, April 13, 2025. With love from his family, the Throne of Grace and the community, HRH Tony Ulasi stands not just as a traditional leader, but a man deeply rooted in service and the Gospel.

As the people of Dome-Kwabenya look forward to the main event on Sunday, one thing is certain: Okudaa -Ibube I has not just marked a birthday—he’s reaffirmed a legacy of leadership with love.
