A/R: Massive crowd awaits Mahama’s arrival

2020 NDC Flagbearer EX-President John Dramani Mahama is expected to tour Ashanti Region today.

It forms part of his ‘Thank You’ to express profound gratitude and appreciation to persons who voted for him during the crucial 2020 polls.

The 2020 NDC Flagbearer EX-President Mahama garnered over 20% and four seats within the Ashanti Region including its stronghold Asawase by Minority Chief Whip Muntaka Mubarak.

As part of his itinerary, EX-President Mahama will pay a courtesy call on Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, some divisional chiefs, families of victims of Ejura military killing and brutalities and identifiable groups.

But, even before the former President’s arrival in Ejura, a large number of people have already gathered in the streets awaiting his tour of the region.

The two-day Ashanti Regional tour will wrap up the second phase of his “Thanks You” tour across the country after controversial 2020 polls where he polled over six million votes and 37 out of 275 seats in parliament.
