Akufo-Addo’s vision is for production not taxation- W/R Minister

Western Regional Minister Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah is making a strong case that President Akufo-Addo’s vision is focused on production and and not taxation.

Speaking at the commissing of Phase III and sod cutting of phase IV of KEDA (Ghana) Ceramics Company Ltd, a subsidiary of Twyford in Shama, Darko-mensah said “Mr. president, you have a great vision. I’m certain that Akufo-Addo’s vision is for production not taxation”.

For his part, Managing Director of KEDA (Ghana) Ceramics Company Ltd Li Wei says the company is fully committed to the industrialization agenda of President Akufo-Addo.

Li Wei noted that “We’ll hand over technical positions to local staff to steer the affairs of our company as part of our far-reaching plans”.

Chairman of KEDA (Ghana) Ceramics Company Limited Mr. has promised to scale up production to “150,000 square meters per day to generate more foreign exchange for Ghana. I can boldly say we’re the biggest employer in the manufacturing sector”.

The company currently produces 100,000 square meters daily, with 2000 direct jobs and 3000 indirect jobs.

Shen Yanchang noted that “We’re committed to the industrialization drive. We intends the company the most industrial hub of Africa”.
