Burial rites held for Samira Bawumia’s bodyguard late Fuseini
This morning, a funeral service was held for Mumuni Fuseini, a member of Samira Bawumia’s security team who tragically lost his life in an accident on Saturday.
Mumuni Fuseini was one of the convoy members accompanying Ghana’s Second Lady Samira Bawumia when a collision occurred with a bus near Nobewam in the Ashanti Region.
The accident involved several vehicles, including two Toyota Land Cruisers, a Mercedes Benz car, and a Sprinter Benz bus. Out of the eight victims, four sustained serious injuries.
During the ceremony, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and his wife, Samira Bawumia, were seen accompanying Alhassan’s family, displaying a solemn demeanor.
Mumuni Fuseini faithfully protected Mrs. Bawumia for approximately five years. The burial was conducted in adherence to Islamic customs.
