CJ’s $5m bribery saga: Judicial Service Act demands that you step aside- NDC to CJ

National Democratic Congress has called on Chief Justice His Lordship Kwasi Anin Yeboah to immediately step aside pending investigations into the $5million bribery allegation against him.

According the biggest opposition party, good governance and Judicial Service Act require that Justice Anin Yeboah as the Learned Head of the Judiciary to quickly step down before investigation is conducted into the matter.

Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday 13 July 2021 in Accra, General Secretary of the party Johnson Asiedu Nketiah insists “CJ’s continues remaining in an office will compromise investigation into the case. The likelihood of impartial probe and outcomes is minimal “.

Asiedu Nketiah noted that “Judicial Service Act, good governance and best practice demands that you step aside temporarily as the Chair of the General Legal Council (GLC)”.
