Covid-19: 1.3m doses of vaccines administered- Ofori-Atta

Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta has revealed that a total of about 1.3 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines have been administered.

According to Ofori-Atta, the achievement is in tandem with government avowed agenda to vaccinate 20 million Ghanaians this year.

Speaking during the Mid-Year-Budget-Review at parliament in Accra on Thursday 29 July 2021, Ken Ofori-Atta said ” Government has administered bout 1.3m doses of vaccines”.

Ofori Atta noted that “20 million Ghanaians will be vaccinated this year to achieve herd community, we’ve widen access to vaccines and temperature monitoring devices to contain the pandemic”.

“We must do everything to contain the pandemic. We can’t return to partial lockdown, let work together”, Ofori-Atta said.
