Don’t kill yourself over politics – Shatta Wale

Dance Hall King Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr. popularly addressed as Shatta Wale has advised the youth of Ghana not to kill themselves over political issues in hope that their protest would yield the economic dividend they are expecting.

In an interview monitored by African Editors on Saturday 24 July 2021, King of Shatta Movement indicated that any government who comes to power would do worse than Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo. Though it is not clear who his comment refers to  but his comment has been linked to Former President John Mahama.

Meanwhile, this comes at a time in which the youth of Ghana are demanding that government should fix the country taken into account the recent hardships that are affecting the economy.
