Dr. Siaw Agyepong spreads joy through new year’s day donation drive
On New Year’s Day, Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong, Executive Chairman of the Jospong Group of Companies (JGC), touched the lives of thousands of Ghanaians through his annual donation drive.
More than 4,000 individuals from various walks of life gathered at his residence in American House, East Legon, Accra, to receive food and essential supplies. Among the attendees were seniors, women, men, and youth, many of whom arrived as early as 6:00 a.m. Each beneficiary was provided with a 5-kilogram bag of rice, cooking oil, soft drinks, Mackerel sardines, and transport fare.
Before the distribution, a prayer session was held, led by Pastor Daniel Danso, the Chaplain of JGC. During the session, many participants accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Madam Emma Adwoa Appiaa Osei-Duah, Director of Communications and Corporate Affairs at Zoomlion Ghana Limited, highlighted that this charitable act reflects Dr. Siaw Agyepong’s deep commitment to giving back to society.
“This initiative is not new for Dr. Siaw Agyepong and his family,” she explained. “What began as a local effort in his neighborhood has now expanded to include beneficiaries from areas such as Nsawam, Koforidua, and Kasoa.”
Madam Osei-Duah emphasized that the annual donation drive is a way for Dr. Siaw Agyepong and his family to share their blessings with the less fortunate during the holiday season.
