EC to reprint ballot papers for V/R shortfalls today

The Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana has reported a shortfall in ballot papers for five constituencies in the Volta Region—Keta, Ketu North, Hohoe, Ho Central, and Ho West. To resolve this, the EC has appointed Acts Commercials to handle the reprinting of the missing ballots.

In a letter dated November 28, 2024, and signed by Samuel Tettey, Deputy Chairman in charge of Operations, the EC called on all political parties and independent candidates to designate two agents each to observe the reprinting process.

The reprinting is set to take place on Friday, November 29, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.

The EC reiterated its commitment to ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the electoral process, encouraging all stakeholders to actively participate in monitoring the printing procedure.
