Ashanti Regional  Minister, Simon Osei Mensah, has today, revealed that he deployed soldiers to Ejura because of aKn intelligence his outfit had from Ejura.

Taking his turn at the Justice Koomson-led Co. Come tasked to probe Ejura shootings monitored by African Editors, the Ashanti Regional Minister Mr. Osei Mensah insists that the laws of Ghana grants him the power,” so based on this information I ordered the police and military to go to the town and maintain law and order and I did so as a Chairman of the Regional Security Council, REGSEC because the law grants me the power”.

The Three Member Committee, is chaired by Justice George Kingsley Koomson with Dr. Vladimir Antwi Danso, a Security Expert and Juliet Amoah, an Executive Director of Penplusbyte.

The Public inquiry started its hearing today, investigating factors that caused the death of Ibrahim Mohammed known as ” Kaaka Macho” alongside the two persons  who died and the four persons who sustained injury.
