Forget about winning 2024 elections -Majority Leader to NPP

According to Osei-Kyei-Mensah Bonsu, the Majority Leader in Parliament, the New Patriotic Party will face difficulties in the 2024 polls if it does not mend its internal divisions.

He believes that even Alan Kyerematen, who has openly expressed his bitterness and resigned from the party, should be engaged to bring him back into the fold. Mensah Bonsu emphasizes the need for the party to come together and take immediate steps to repair itself.

He argues that if they do not, they will struggle to win elections, as their base support is around 46-47%. To secure victory, they must attract floating voters by presenting a united front and making the party more appealing. Mensah Bonsu stresses the importance of serious introspection and self-repair in order to attract floating voters and achieve the necessary majority to win power.
