GAMLS expresses confidence in Kwabena Mintah Akandoh’s leadership as Health Minister

The leadership and membership of the Ghana Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists (GAMLS) have expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the President of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, for nominating Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh as the Minister of Health designate.

GAMLS has been closely following Hon. Akandoh’s outstanding contributions over the years, particularly his commendable work as the ranking member of the Select Committee on Health during the 8th Parliament of the 4th Republic. His track record in promoting health-related policies and his unwavering commitment to improving the healthcare system in Ghana have earned him the trust and admiration of many in the sector.

We, at GAMLS, are confident that Hon. Akandoh will excel in his new role as the Minister of Health once he is approved. We believe his leadership will bring much-needed reforms and a strategic direction to the sector, enabling it to overcome existing challenges and emerge as a leader in Health Tourism.

We eagerly anticipate the opportunity to work alongside him and support his efforts in transforming Ghana’s healthcare system into a globally recognized hub for health services.
