Head Teacher of Odumase Akim M/A Junior High School Regina Adwoa Bonsie has urged government to establish a primary school that will feed the latter with students for enrollment at J.H.S level.

Established in 1960, Odumase Akim M/A Junior High School has never had its primary school and are forced to admit students from other school to satisfy enrollment.

According to the Head Teacher, the phenomenon creates academic, social and cultural gaps because students are only familiar with practices of their former schools.

Speaking to African Editors, Madam Bonsie said ” I think the MCE should facilitate processes to establish the primary school for us. It will make us complete”.

Apart from that, the school is facing other challenges. Key among them are lack of a workshop for practical training for basic, design and technology (bdt), science and computer laboratory, staff common room, school library limiting research, netball and football court for sporting activities.
