Ghana Gas Acting CEO tours Western Region
Ms. Judith Adjobah Blay, the newly appointed Acting CEO of Ghana National Gas Company (Ghana Gas), on March 27, 2025 embarked on a three-day tour of the Western Region. The visit, which aimed to familiarize herself with the region and its key stakeholders, began with a courtesy call to the Western Regional House of Chiefs and the Western Regional Minister. Ms. Blay, accompanied by Acting Deputy CEO Ing. Dr. Robert Lartey and other members of the company’s management team, was warmly received as she commenced this important journey.
A warm reception from the Western Regional House of Chiefs
One of the first stops on Ms. Blay’s tour was the Western Regional House of Chiefs, where she received praise and accolades from the traditional leaders. The Chiefs, in particular, expressed their gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for appointing a native daughter of the region to lead Ghana Gas. In response, Ms. Blay assured the Chiefs of her commitment to fostering a strong and productive collaboration between Ghana Gas and the local communities. She also pledged to meet with the House of Chiefs twice a year to discuss the company’s progress and its role in the development of the region.
