Ghana: Stop acts that threaten peace- Otumfuo
Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has urged Ghanaians to protect Ghana’s peaceful atmosphere and abstain from behavioural patterns that erupt chaotic scenes in the country.
In recent times, Ghana has witnessed chaotic scenes including day-light armed robbery, police, military brutalities of unarmed civilians, journalists and gruesome murder of citizens.

Speaking at Millennium Excellence Awards at the weekend, His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II said “the current politically-polarised atmosphere is a worrying sign capable of developing into unrest at the slightest provocation”.
In view of emerging trends of potential security threats in the West African sub region, Otumfuo urged “Ghanaians to abstain from behavioural patterns that trigger threats to prevail peace in Ghana”.
Otumfuo noted that “I pray with all hearts that, hurts no one, a man or woman, young or old, rich or poor. We have every reason to be thankful for the peace in our land “.
