GN Bank collapse: Dr. Nduom meets Mahama to intervene if elected
Chairman of Groupe Nduom and PPP Founder Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom has called on NDC flagbearer H.E. John Dramani Mahama, petitioning him about the collapse of GN Bank by the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia government. He has urged him to help restore the bank if he recapture power in 2025.
Dr. Nduom expressed his disappointment in the current government’s handling of the situation, stating that the collapse of GN Bank has caused a lot of hardship for its depositors and employees. He believes that with the right support and intervention from a future government led by H.E. John Dramani Mahama, GN Bank can be revived and restored to its former glory.
Dr. Nduom has also called on H.E. John Dramani Mahama to prioritize the protection of indigenous Ghanaian businesses and to ensure that such collapses do not happen again in the future. He emphasized the importance of supporting local businesses to drive economic growth and development in the country.
H.E. John Dramani Mahama has not yet responded to Dr. Nduom’s petition, but it is clear that the issue of the collapse of GN Bank is still a pressing concern for many Ghanaians. It remains to be seen how the former president will address this issue if he is elected back into power in 2025.
