Board Member of Accra Hearts of Oak Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tameklo has heaped tons of praises on Coach Samuel Boadi, players and Governing Board of the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League (GPL) Champions.

Accra Hearts of Oak has been crowned the champions of the GPL after putting up splendid performance to lift the trophy even before their final match of the season.

According to Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tameklo, the team faced problems at the preliminary stages of of the GPL but they were collectively able to surmount the difficulties.

Speaking in an interview monitored by African Editors on 14 July 2021 in Accra, the former Ghana Football Association President Dr. Nyaho-Tameklo said “We encountered problems at beginning of the game but we were able to overcome the challenges and forged ahead” .

The tie at the GPL top was broken when Hearts puts up a strong fight to hammer Kotoko 1:0 at Ohene Gyan Sports Stadium in Accra on penalty, getting to the tail end of the match.

Dr. Nyaho-Tameklo noted that “Kotoko game was very crucial and winning was the turning point for the us”.

The Phobians will be playing their last match at Sogakope to stamp the already won victory, an indisputable excitement expected to be on a higher notes.
