GPL wk12 wrap up: Hearts records vital away win, Kotoko scores AshGold and more

Week 12 of the Ghana Premier League, kicks-off on Friday with Medeama SC hosting Berekum Chelsea which ended one all. The away team drew the first blood in the 29th minute, through Mohammed Alhassan, before Kwasi Donsu in the 80th minute leveled the score for the home side.

On Saturday, Hearts of Oak recorded a crucial away win in Bibiani by defeating Gold Stars by a lone goal through James Sewornu’s only goal. Accra Lions and WAFA played out a goalless drawn game at Accra Sports Stadium.

On Sunday, Kumasi Asante Kotoko got the highest scoreline after thrashing Ashford by three goals to one at the Baba Yara Stadium. Frank Mbella Etouga got hat trick and Elija Addai got the face-saving goal for the away team.

Bechem United beat Real Tamale United( RTU) by two goals to nil. Augustine Okrah and Emmanuel Annor got the goals for the home side.

Legon Cities shocked Dreams FC at Dawu by a lone goal, Courtesy Croster Abu Obuo only goal.

Eleven Wonders defeated King Faisal by two goals to nil. Ibrahim Laar got a brace.

Elmina Sharks were pipped at home by Aduana Stars by a lone goal through Bright Adjei.

Accra Great Olympics settled for a one-all draw with Karela United.
