Airman LAC Adukpo Mensah authors book on smart decision-making

A book authored by LAC Prince Adukpo Mensah has been launched with a call on the public, policymakers, Presidency, Chiefs, security agencies, Ministries, Department, and Agencies, to depend on the book to make smart decisions for desirable outcomes.

According to LAC Prince Adukpo Mensah, the greatest capacity God has given everyone is the power of choice and that individuals should not lose sight of the fact that every decision has implications for the future.

Speaking at a book launch on Friday 18 June 2021 in Accra, the over eight years experienced Airman LAC Adukpo Mensah said: “Choices are fundamental to your success. Be smart in making choices because they have corresponding effects”.

The book dubbed: “Understanding The Power of Choice ” is crafted to be life walking coach on smart decision-making, shape the opinions of people towards the achievement of their set goals.

LAC Adukpo Mensah noted that “There is always knowledge gap in the choices we make. This book will sustain and drive your ambitions without hurting anyone”.

Meanwhile, a Senior Lecturer at the University of Education, Winneba Dr. Albert Wornyo has charged students at the tertiary levels to use the book as an academic reference piece in their intellectual work.

“This book is an excellent reference masterpiece at the tertiary levels of education. I recommend this book to all to rely on as an academic reference point”.

Under the scrutiny of a well-vexed hand in English, the necessary ingredients have been explored and included in this book.

If respected for its ability, it would be “a light upon thy path in the night and a staff in thy hands against all odds”.


About the Author of the book titled: “UNDERSTANDING THE POWER OF CHOICE”.

Aircraftman (LAC) Mensah Adukpo Prince was born to Mr. and Mrs. Adukpo in Tsawenu a suburb of Awudome in the Volta Region of Ghana.

He had his primary education at the Tsawenu L/A Primary School located in the Ho West District of the Volta Region. He continued to Blessed Generation International School where he sat for the Basic Education Certificate Examination.
He proceeded to the Wesley Grammar School to read General Arts. He sat for and passed well the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in 2008 and successfully gained admission into the University of Ghana to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with Sociology.

He was in the University when he got the opportunity to enlistment into the Ghana Air Force Recruit Training School in Takoradi. He recently graduated with an Executive Certificate in Security Intelligence and Forensic Studies from Knutsford University, Legon.

Having gained the requisite experience and exposure after six months of Basic Military Training, he passed out into Ghana Air Force with flying colours as he was adjudged the Best in Academics and the Overall Best Recruit in his intake. In 2018, he participated and won the ultimate award in the ‘Chief of Defense Staff’s Prize Essay Competition’ organized for all soldiers of the Ghana Armed Forces serving home and abroad.

Mensah Adukpo Prince is a vibrant young man whose deep knowledge and experience is derived from having served in different capacities of leadership. He has participated in lots of seminars and taken several online courses.

He began his leadership roles as early as in his basic school where he
served as the school prefect. He continued in his leadership roles at Wesley Grammar School where he served as the Senior Boys’ Prefect as well as the SRC President for 2007/2008 academic year. He also served as the Script Editor of the Drama, Debate and Creative Writers Club of Wesley Grammar School. He also served in the Academic Board of the Pentecost Students and Associates. He was the Regional coordinator of the Greater Accra Regional Students Representative Council in 2011.

He is currently serving in the Ghana Armed Forces (Air Force) as an Air Traffic Control & Operations Clerk. He loves to read, write and watch educative movies. He has a very keen interest in research.
