Kwadaso Agric College to be upgraded to University- MOFA

Director of Human Resource Development and Management Directorate of the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, Mr. Lawoety Tetteh has said plans are in progress for government to upgrade Kwadaso Agricultural  College to University of Agriculture.

He said the government has appended signatures to a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Mendel in the Czech Republic to carry it to realization.

Lawoety revealed that the said MoU is to help team up with Mendel University to help Ghana to set up a comparative module the Mendel University has.

Talking at the launch of the 100th commemoration of Kwadaso Agriculture College, Director of Human Resource Development and Management Directorate of the Ministry of Food and Agriculture Lawoety Tetteh said after upgrading, additional campuses will be set up at Wenchi and Ejura to cater for accommodation issues.

On his part, the Principal of the Kwadaso Agricultural College, Rev. Benjamin Asante Mensah, counted a few difficulties the College is confronting including homeroom and staff facilities.
