Former CEO of Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) Alex Mould has urged Governing Board of Accra Academy, GES, Education Ministry and other stakeholders within the educational sector to immediately design educational curricula to produce graduates that are fit-for-purpose.

According to him, professional competence matters in the job markets and efforts must be made to ensure upcoming graduates have the adequate skills and technical capabilities needed to excel after school.

Speaking at the launch of 90th anniversary, unveiling of the anniversary  logo and roll out of year’s activities of Accra Academy Academy, the Petroleum Expert Bleoobi Alex Mould insists “Competence is crucial in the job markets. There must be continues dialogue with Management, GES, Education Ministry and stakeholders to produce fit-for-purpose graduates for higher performance through formulation of policies”.

According to Bleoobi Alex Mould, technology has taken the world by the storm and the school should upgrade syllabus and policies in order to cater for emerging gaps in the old-aged educational system.

“Let’s not do politics with education” he said
