LVR: EC Board Member takes technical hitches to God

Rev. Akua Boateng, a Member of the Electoral Commission Board, was in prayer mode as she visited the Ayawaso West district office to witness technical challenges in the ongoing voter registration exercise. Surrounded by party agents, she led a heartfelt prayer for the proper functioning of registration machines and connectivity.

In her prayer, Rev. Boateng asked for God’s intervention, saying “we pray for the machines and connectivity to work throughout the day so that everyone has the opportunity to register.” She also prayed for the party agents, asking God to be with them.

The voter registration exercise faced setbacks on the first day due to power and network challenges. While the situation improved on the second day, later reports indicated that the issues had returned. Divine intervention was seen as necessary to resolve the technical challenges.
