Mahama appoints Prof. Kpessa-Whyte as Ag. Dir-Gen of SIGA
President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Professor Michael Kpessa-Whyte as the Acting Director-General of the State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA).
Professor Kpessa-Whyte confirmed his appointment in an interview with TV3 on Friday, January 24, expressing that his mission is straightforward: to serve the nation to the best of his ability.
In a follow-up post on X, he expressed his gratitude to the President, stating: “Your Excellency @JDMahama, I wish to thank you sincerely for the opportunity to serve Ghana once again in your administration. The mission is simple: utmost service to the nation. I’m very grateful, Mr. President. I will give it my very best.”
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Shai-Osudoku region quickly congratulated Professor Kpessa-Whyte on his appointment.
In a statement, they highlighted the significance of his appointment, calling it a reflection of his exceptional leadership skills, academic excellence, and commitment to public service.
