Mahama inaugurates 19-member ‘120-day social contract’ task force
President John Dramani Mahama has officially inaugurated a 19-member task force for the 120-day social contract, aimed at monitoring and ensuring the delivery of promises made during his first 120 days in office. The ceremony took place at the Jubilee House on Tuesday, 11th February.
In his address, President Mahama urged the task force members to work diligently to fulfill the commitments he made, emphasizing that many of the promises fall within the direct mandate of the ministers appointed to the task force.
Ahead of the election, President Mahama pledged to implement several key initiatives within his first 120 days, including the elimination of certain taxes, such as the E-Levy and the Betting Tax.
