Mahama sets up 7-member National Economic Dialogue Planning C’ttee
President Mahama has officially formed a seven-member National Economic Dialogue (NED) Planning Committee, which will be chaired by Dr. Ishmael Yamson.
The committee includes Dr. K.Y. Amoako, Professor John Gatsi, Mohammed Samara, Nelly Mireku, Anthony Sarpong, and Ernest De-Graft Egyir.
The announcement was made in a statement on Sunday, January 26, 2025, by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Acting Spokesperson for the President.
The National Economic Dialogue (NED) aims to provide a platform for discussions and consultations on the country’s critical development issues. It will also address policy trade-offs and foster consensus on the reforms required to propel Ghana towards becoming a high-growth, inclusive, and resilient economy.
