Momo defeats Dorcas Korklu to retain Krowor parliamentary slot

Incumbent member of parliament for Krowor constituency, Agnes Naa Momo Lartey has defeated Dorcas Korklu and four others to retain the parliamentary slot on Saturday, 13th May, 2023.

Momo pulled 1,413 votes while her closest contender Dorcass Korklu got 403. Here is what the other contestants got; Bloman 71, Manison 36 and Kpakpo 87.

Agnes Naa Momo has been a member of parliament for 2years and five months after defeating NPP’s Aforley Quaye in the 2020 elections.

After little over two years in parliament, some individuals in the constituency think she has not done much to be given another opportunity.

However, the delegates think otherwise, and have overwhelmingly endorsed Momo’s hardworks in the constituency.
