NDC stole 24 hour economy from us -APC

On Sunday night, Hassan Ayariga, the Presidential Candidate of the All People’s Congress (APC), launched his manifesto at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) Auditorium. The manifesto, titled the Nation’s Manifesto, outlines his vision for Ghana and the reasons why Ghanaians should vote for him in the upcoming December 7, 2024 election under the motto “Transforming Ghana and Restoring Hope.”

Ayariga is one of 13 Presidential Candidates cleared by the Electoral Commission (EC) to contest the 2024 Presidential election. During the event, he claimed that the 24 hour economy initiative belonged to the APC and not the National Democratic Congress (NDC), as they had introduced it as far back as 2016.

The APC also criticized the government’s “Gold for Oil” policy, calling it a “scam” that only benefited a few at the expense of the entire country. Ayariga promised to cancel the policy if the APC wins the 2024 polls.

Additionally, Ayariga pledged to increase the minimum salary in Ghana to GH¢5,000 if elected, implement a bi-weekly payment system, and raise the minimum wage from GH¢18 to between GH¢150 and GH¢300. He emphasized that current salaries in Ghana were insufficient to cover basic needs.
