NDC to unveil 2024 Manifesto Saturday @ UEW

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has officially announced the launch of its 2024 Election Manifesto, scheduled to take place at 12 noon on Saturday, August 24th, 2024. The event will be held at the Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Auditorium at the University of Education, Winneba, located in the Central Region.

This significant occasion follows the recent unveiling of the NDC’s “Youth Manifesto,” which details the party’s strategic vision and commitments for the youth if it secures power in the upcoming elections.

The main manifesto launch will be graced by the NDC’s Flagbearer, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, who will serve as the Special Guest of Honor. The event will also feature notable figures from within the party, including members of the National Executive Committee, the Council of Elders, Members of Parliament, and Parliamentary Candidates. In addition, the gathering is expected to include distinguished guests from various sectors such as the Diplomatic Corps, Clergy, Traditional Authorities, Civil Society Organizations, Academia, Labor Organizations, and the Creative Arts industry.

A press statement issued on Monday, August 19th, 2024, by Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi, the party’s national communications officer, extended an invitation to the general public to attend and witness the launch. The manifesto will provide a platform for the NDC to present its transformative agenda for Ghana, highlighting key thematic areas that outline its vision for the country’s future.

Attendees are requested to be seated by 11 AM to ensure a timely start. Media organizations planning to cover the event are advised to contact the National Communications Bureau of the NDC to secure the necessary accreditation.
