Prof. Nana Ama Browne Klutse has officially assumed her role as the Executive Director of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) following a smooth handover from her predecessor.
Appointed by President John Mahama last week, Prof. Klutse now serves as the Acting Executive Director of the EPA. “Earlier today, I met with Mr. John Kingsley Krugu, the outgoing Executive Director, to ensure a seamless leadership transition. He briefed me on the current state of the EPA, particularly highlighting the agency’s recent elevation to an authority, which expands its mandate.”
“Looking ahead, I am fully committed to serving the people of Ghana and advancing the EPA’s mission to protect and sustain our environment. Let the work begin!” she stated.
