NPP Primaries: Dr. John Kumah goes unopposed in Ejisu

Dr. John Kumah, the Member of Parliament for Ejisu, has emerged unopposed as the candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming primaries.

On Monday, December 25, 2023, the Electoral Area Coordinators and Polling Station Executives of the Ejisu Constituency officially submitted Dr. Kumah’s nomination form for the Deputy Minister of Finance. This decision was made independently, with the group bearing the cost of filing the nomination papers themselves.

The decision was driven by Dr. Kumah’s remarkable development initiatives in the Ejisu Constituency. As a result, they firmly believe that he is the most suitable candidate to drive the socioeconomic progress of the constituency. The Chairman of the Ejisu Constituency Election Committee confirmed that by the close of the nomination period, Dr. John Kumah was the only candidate who had both picked up and filed a nomination form, making him the uncontested contestant in the forthcoming NPP Parliamentary Election in the Ejisu Constituency.
